Dr. Niro is fantastic! He is a very thoughtful, knowledgable, and thorough eye doctor. I had a great experience when I went to this office. He really knows what he is doing. My whole experience was great. I ordered a year supply of Acuvue Oasys contacts and Wesson & Niro were able to get them in within 2 days of placing my order! Sidenote:I have gone to Lexington Eye Associates my whole life, but lately I have found their services to be sub-par. Last time I went there the assistants even mixed up the labeling on my contacts box, so I wound up wearing my left prescription in my right eye and vice versa. It was a mess! Also, it turns out that youre not supposed to wear contacts once your eyes are dilated due to the preservatives in the contacts. Lexington Eye never caught that and always sent me home wearing my contacts. After I had such a great experience at Wesson & Niro, I see no reason to return to Lexington Eye.
I really liked Dr Niro - he seemed above average for professionalism and knowledge to me. I also really like the staff. However, I was not so happy with the folks who work the optical department. Theyve made 4 pairs of glasses for me - and I have not been happy with a single selection. I know, I know, I was there and actually made the choices - but little things here and there - where I relied on their advice - meant none of these glasses were good for me in the long run. They never quite had a frame I liked - it was always something that was a small compromise. But Ive had good luck with opticians sometimes in the past - and have gotten glasses I liked far more than I thought I would. So, to sum up, Dr Niro is great - I wouldnt go anywhere else. But for the actual glasses, I wont use their optical department again. That didnt work out for me.
Dr Niro is great. The Optical department team is super. I only get my eyes checked and glasses here. Been going for ...wow maybe 20 years?!
