Lost my service. Reps can put on a show, but after the sale, customer service became rude and very unprofessional. Not once did the phone rep apologize for the situation... 10/19/15 - I was looking for an oversized chair that I could pick up within a week. The sales rep (Sharolyn) said I could pick up the furniture from warehouse the following week and that she would call me to schedule 10-27-15 - I called the following week and spoke with a rather rude phone rep (Jimmy) that told me that my piece was on back order for 3 months... I told him that I had a vehicle on loan to pick it up this week, if not, that they needed to deliver it for free since my original agreement was to pick it up this week... He said that Sharolyn did not work there any longer so he could not honor any agreements with her and that he would get in touch with the warehouse to see if they could release early. Two hours later I called back, got Jimmy again, who rather rudely told me that "he cannot force the warehouse to respond any faster, that he will call me when he gets word"...three more hours he calls and says I can pick it up after Nov 6...I asked for a manager and was told that none will be there until tomorrow...I asked to have the manager call me in the morning 10-28-15 - I called right before noon, got Jimmy again, that said he did not recall our conversation from yesterday...I asked again for the manager...on hold for 2 minutes...then Jimmy tells me they can offer $50 against my purchase... I said not, either I pick it up this week, they deliver for free next week, or we cancel the order...again asked for manager...on hold for another 3 minutes...then Jimmy tells me that the manager is with a customer, but they can deliver it for me for free, but it will be after Nov. 6th...I said that will be fine, but I want a guaranteed date of delivery, he said after the 6th, I said I need a guaranteed date...after which he said he will just cancel the order and hung up on me... I called back, got Jimmy again and told him to have his manager call me before the end of the day, to which he responded that he "cannot force his manager to do anything, but he will leave a note", I asked for managers name (Jody) and asked what time he would be there until (6pm) 10-28-15 - I went to the store to speak with Jody, who was not on the floor, not with a customer, so why he did not have time to call me I am not sure. Jody said he was aware of the situation and that he was behind Jimmy listening in to the conversation the whole time. I asked why he did not get on the call when I asked for a manager, he claimed he was with a customer (Jimmy was on the phone farthest from the customer window)...he then politely called me a liar stating that Jimmy was not rude and that he did not hang up on me...I not much of one to argue, so I got my receipt of the cancellation, stated that they have lost my service, and left, never to return... I hope the post helps bring awareness to the deceit and unprofessionalism of Rooms to Go in Baton Rouge...good luck to anyone shopping there, I hope you like to wait months for furniture promised in days...

I will never, ever, ever, do business with Rooms to Go again. I have had issue after issue after issue, with little to no help whatsoever from the company. I have had no furniture due to the flood that occurred in August and was finally able to purchase some and was very excited. However, the experience from this company has completely ruined it for me. The only good thing was the salesman at the showroom. He was actually somewhat helpful. But the the delivery men were TERRIBLE. They were supposed to call an hour before arrival to give me a time frame, instead they called when they were lost on my street which left me scrambling to kennel my dog, hang up a work phone call, and get things together. Then they left the delivery truck parked in the middle of my street because they said they couldnt pull it into my driveway. I live on a main street with ditches on either side and not in a neighborhood, so cars were honking and struggling to get around the entire time. They left a giant stack of cardboard boxes that the furniture came in in the middle of my driveway without informing me that they did so and then left. Normally, I wouldnt care, but trash pick up for stuff outside the actual trashcan was in another week. After they left, I realized they didnt attach the knobs on any piece of the furniture and assembled my bed incorrectly. The knobs where not a big deal as I was able to screw them in myself, I just wish I had had a heads up before they left as I was trying to tend to my dog part of the time they were assembling the furniture since they arrive so hastily. They assembled my bed upside down which resulted in it being nearly a foot higher than my nightstands and when I called, the woman at customer service told me it would be a minimum of 3 weeks before she could get anyone out to reassemble it the correct way. Which I find ridiculous considering it was their fault. When I complained about them leaving the pile of trash in the middle of the driveway and street, she simply stated that they must not have had room on the truck. Completely unacceptable. Then as I attempted to pay my bill I had no understanding of how to do so, as the salesman told me it would be simple and told me just to go to rooms to go online and pay it there...which is not accurate. I then looked for the paperwork he gave me and realized it was in Spanish, so I was unable to read it. Called them and spent an hour on the phone which was a joke and gave me no information. I am VERY VERY VERY unhappy with how everything was handled by this company and will never do business with them again. I will do all business with Olindes as I have done in the past and received flawless care. If I could have given 0 stars, I would.

I purchased a SteelFlex sofa, side chair, mattress/box springs and headboard two years ago. We laid on many mattresses finally choosing the FIRMEST one. It was delivered on time with pleasant delivery men. We noticed about 8 months in that the $1,000.00 mattress was starting to feel softer. I am a busy working woman with little time for nonsense. I waited until last week to call Rooms To Go about this now, slump-in the middle mattress. When we tried to turn it over it "crumpled" like a fortune cookie just changing it around. Even my two male friends said "whats wrong with your mattress, it shouldnt do this"? The technician came out, Eric, and he was nice enough but it was clear he had a certain protocol he had to get through which included pictures. I wanted to lay on the mattress so he could see how sunk-in I was but he said he was not allowed to take a picture of any person on the mattress. If you just look at the mattress it looks fine BTW. So today I got a call from the "Service Department" declining my request for a new mattress. Her name was Swakie and she was curt and dismissive of my responses to her notifying me that "according to their assessment there is nothing wrong with your mattress". She stated that unless the mattress left my "body print" and the technician captured it on camera they could not replace it. What a scam! I have a full-time job and a busy life. I dont have time to bother with this and wouldt be but I KNOW this mattress, with a 10 year guarantee, broke down WAY before it should have. Clearly a lemon. I also just bought bookcases and a TV credenza from them in March so its not like I am a low-dollar, once-only customer. I realize this "technician" is someone who is sent out to appease the customer and has no intention of doing a thorough job of examining the mattress... or HE would have laid on it! Today when Ms. Swakie called to decline replacing the mattress she was hurried, and practically hung up on me as I continue to try to explore with her my options. So I have decided to load my mattress onto my brothers truck with his help and will be bringing into the Siegen store Saturday morning. Maybe someone will take me serious. Because I am not going away as I truly have a mattress that is defected or possibly even an Sealy imposture. See you Saturday morning.
