Today is my 21st birthday and the first time Ive ever received flowers. My fiances wonderful mother bought some to have delivered to me. They called me at 12:30 telling me they would arrive in a couple hours. I didnt have anywhere to be, so that was fine. At 4:30, I decided to call and check in. I was told the delivery guy just picked them up and was on his way. Almost an hour later, I got a call from the store that ended after one ring. I took that as my call to head downstairs since I was told he would call when he arrived. I get down and am greeted in a very rude manner. He asked me if I had been on my phone the whole time or just wasnt paying attention at all.. I was confused. He said he had been downstairs calling me for 20 minutes and asked someone else who lives in my apartment building to try to contact me. He was SO unbelievably rude to me. I felt horrible because I thought maybe I just didnt have signal and missed his calls. I got upstairs and realized they wrote down the wrong contact number on the card. The number he had been trying to call was 1 digit off from mine. I called and spoke with Tamy the owner. I apologized for the confusion and told her that he had been trying to call the wrong number. I also let her know that he was very rude. She apologized and said that he had the number that they were given. Wrong. They had the right number seeing as they had called me earlier in the day and I answered right away. Someone wrote down the wrong number and that caused a lot of confusion. Mistakes happen, I understand this. Their driver apparently does not, nor does he have any patience at all. The flowers are gorgeous, but the driver ruined this whole experience for me.

It makes me sad to write this review, as I have been going to Flowerama to get our senior flowers for about 10 years now, and because they were always so nice and helpful, I would go to them for all of my flower needs. I have always purchased the larger bouquets and then had them split them into smaller bouquets. I have always paid the extra for water tubes or filler to make the bouquets nice. I was told today that they can no longer do any other service, except wrap bouquets as they come out of the case. I was very rudely told that I could pay the per bouquet price for what I wanted, and I should consider myself lucky because they should be charging valentine prices already. I totally understand the need to make money at their business, but I do not understand the rudeness and sacrificing business, essentially over 8 pieces of wrapping paper. The experience was bad enough that I felt compelled to write this, I will never purchase anything there ever again and I will tell everyone I know to not go there either.

Yesterday I was the recipient of a bouquet from Flowerama from Iowa City, IA which my significant other purchased in the store. Adorable bouquet with daisies and yellow roses. Today, only ONE day later, the roses are browned and dry at the tips of the petals. I checked the foam base and it was still moist (no water necessary). Very disappointing product. P.S. And isnt it interesting that the other reviews (Joseph O. and Sarah R.) are nearly IDENTICAL? Says something about a business when those related to it post their own reviews....

Ordered a bouquet by phone today for delivery to a friend in IA City, and had a great experience with the Flowerama folks. They were friendly to deal with on the phone and were considerate of the price range I mentioned. The delivery was right on time when it needed to be and, judging from the photo my friend sent afterwards, theyd created a lovely arrangement. Id definitely recommend them.

Flowerama of Iowa City created amazing custom flowers for our booth at the 2015 Iowa Wedding Expo this year. It was the "icing on the cake" and really pulled the wedding themed booth together. We cant say enough good things about the owner Tamy and her helpful crew.

Called in an order to be sent to UIHC, I didnt know the patients room#, told them I would find out and call back. They had the beautiful bouquet already delivered before I could get back to them. Very friendly staff!
