Be careful at the Verizon store. Not sure if these particular employees still work there, but my boyfriend and I stopped in one time and one guy showed us phones while the other tried to sneak pictures with his phone over the counter. He must have been taking pictures of my boyfriend because I think he would have seen me staring at him if I was in the shot at all. The guy showing the phones saw him and I stared at him in disbelief. He just kind of looked at me with this "ummm... you didnt see anything..." expression. We left and it took me a couple minutes to realize what had happened before I told my boyfriend. He was somehow completely oblivious to the whole situation. Too intrigued by the new iPhone I guess. We ended up going back and asked to speak to a manager. The phone guy said he was the manager so we asked for a number to call to make a complaint, picture guy practically shaking the whole time. He gave us a card and we left, called the number, turns out it was his card with his number. Couldnt find any sort of customer service number for Verizon that wasnt automated so we just dropped it. Most of the stores are just clothing and most of the food is pretzels. I cant spend much more than half an hour here without getting bored. Like other reviews have said, needs more doors that you dont have to go through a store to get to.

I spent about 5 hours today the mall. I parked in the back of the mall by the JCPenney. I shopped at JCP, BAM and Kitchen Collection. I left the Kitchen Collection at 6:00 and walked down to JCP only to find that I couldnt get out of the building at all. I went back to the center of the mall and asked the security guard if there was any way to get out the back way. He said that I would have to go out the front of the building by Verizon and walk around. So not only were my feet tired from shopping all afternoon, but I had 3 very large bags, one that was really heavy because it had almost $60 in books in it. I spent about $225 today at the Kennedy Mall and was very pleased with my purchases until I had to walk all the way around the building with my very heavy bags to get to my car. I think it is ridiculous that there isnt a back exit once all of the stores are closed. This might be something mall management might want to look in to trying to change.

This mall may not be very large, but Dubuque does love it. People mall walk here year-round, and still gather here, while other cities malls have faded into oblivion. There are three big anchor stores (JC Penneys, Younkers, and Books-A-Million, which replaced Borders a few years ago.) Smaller stores appeal to clothes-conscious teens, sports fans, and cooks. Many of the old mall staples are gone forever (Musicland, anyone?) but many still remain, like the Footlocker. The area around the mall has been built up in recent years, with box stores like Best Buy and restaurants like Texas Roadhouse. The mall theater has become an independent one, and has the best popcorn in town. Despite its diminutive size, you can still come to the mall in the morning and stay all day.

The mall is small, which doesnt make it bad its just small. My only problem, which Ive had on more than one occasion is that the mall does not have any rules or policies stated in and around the mall or on their website. This has led me to have been kicked out twice. The first time I was kicked out, I was skating around the mall property. A mall cop stopped me and told me it was against their policy to skate on the property. I respectfully complied, and left. The other time I was kicked out, I was walking in the mall with my skateboard and they told me it was against their policy to have a skateboard in the mall. Ive done my research and I cannot find any rules or policies about the mall. Which leads me to believe they are non-existent.

I have been going here and shopping here since the mid-1980s. Somethings have sadly up and left or died off(i.e. Kay-Bee-Toys, Waldenbooks, Borders, Musicland, Sam Goody, Pets Western, Bishops Buffet, the artwork that was the fountain in the center "intersection" of the building, & the food court restaurants). But good places have come in(i.e. Books-A-Million, Dubuque Humane Society, & HuHot Mongolian Grill) have kept returning a whole heap of fun.

Grew out my eyebrows, came to ulta and they completely screwed them up! Took me 4 months growing them out and when I got them waxed I specifically told her I DO NOT want them thin. What do you know, she made them way to thin, to the point that both eyebrows are not identical anymore! Never going back there! EVER!

This a well maintained, clean mall. That being said, theyve had a hard time keeping stores around lately. For instance, all three of the GAP stores left and are now sitting open, as well as close to half a dozen others. The pretzel shops, however, are decent and BAM! has excellent coffee.

Compared to what the mall was like when I was younger say 1015 years ago. Its really gone downhill and there isnt even an upstairs store section anymore. I suppose though if youre bored it might be worth browsing. Id rather go out of my way and drive to a real Mall.

Good selection. Often crowded, which is not their fault or a negative. Only complaint is that sometimes a stores sale will clog up a good chunk of the walk space outside the store. Also, the Auntie Annes is greatly inferior to the Pretzel Town.

A centerpiece of shopping in Dubuque. Like many malls across the country it sees its fair share of store closures. However, as businesses leave new stores open. Recently, and most notably, a vertical jump park and a Planet Fitness.

The Kennedy mall has nothing anymore. All the stores that are decent seem like they are leaving and nothing really new is coming in on the end of retail this is a place it seems way too outdated and just needs to be torn down

They dont have a lot of good stores anymore. I do enjoy the bookstore, bath and body works and rue 21. It is kinda expensive to find clothes here unless you go to certain stores where they have clearence or marked down items.

It has clothes, a GameStop, a books a million, and a kitchen store. The best place there for me now is planet fitness, which I love for its price. The halls have been updated fairly recently, so its a little nicer to be in.

This mall has changed over the last 47 years. It is still a nice clean place to get out of the heat, to shop, then stop for a bite to eat. They have a variety of different restaurants to choose from.

Great mall to shop at. Miss the Borders:(. Damn electronic computerized devices. But Books-A-Million has taken its place. Another place that has helped me with my western paperback library.

There is a lack of stores here and hardly anything in the "food court". However, they do have some popular stores which is what drives business along with a Planet Fitness.
