Horrible service! I first started going here during $10 oil changes. My husband and I travel a lot so oil changes happen more frequently. It went well until I asked them to rotate my tires. I left the place and every time I turned left the car would make this knocking sound. I immediately called them and turned back around. They checked it over and said everything was fine. The sound continued so I took it back again. Bruce said maybe it was the calipers making noise from the brakes. They then inspected it again and found nothing. Once again the sound continued. I took it back again, it was later in the day. I was told the head mechanic wasnt there and that I should call sooner next time. The uncertified mechanic proceeded to inspect my car as Bruce tells him its probably just the caliper or something. I wait in the waiting area not even 5 min and he comes out and says everything is fine that they had put excellent brake pads on it, and that nothing looked out of place. He said we can pull the brakes apart but that will take some time. I said you guys didnt do the brakes, and Bruce goes running out to the garage yelling stop! stop! to the mechanic. We didnt do those brakes dont even touch them. I followed him out and said what the heck is going on! He said they couldnt have caused the noise because they didnt do the brakes. I said I know I came in here had my tires rotated and now I have this horrible sound the moment I leave but your guys couldnt have caused it? He refused to inspect the brakes without charging me, even though they advertise free inspection. Just prior to all of this I had taken our other car in for an oil change and I asked them to check out the rear brakes on this car. I had them inspected by two other places during oil changes but had found nothing but something just wasnt right. The front brakes were new. I figured what the heck I will have someone look one more time. They said I needed my rear brakes changed and gave me an est. I returned to have the rear brakes changed was told by Bruce they were fine now, but I do need a rear suspension bar and bushings instead. I agreed, they repaired the part. One week later our rear hubcap fell off from having the brakes inspected. I called Bruce he tried to deny that it was their fault because changing the rear suspension bar would not require them to remove the tire. I had to remind him multiple times they had inspected the brakes. He finally told me he would get me a new hub cap and to stop in. I told him it would be awhile because we were going to be extremely busy, and all was good. Less than 1 month later a loud clunking sound started coming from the back. I took it in to another very well known auto shop and was asked if I had recently had my rear suspension bar changed? I told him yes, he said it was missing the bushings and the bar was outside where it was uppose to be sitting. He gave me an estimate to fix it for $166.00 I agreed, but then decided to call Best Car because they had just recently replaced the part, Bruce said come on in. The auto shop said they hoped I had luck with getting help. Completely not the case! Bruce took the car in inspected it and said nope its not the part they fixed it is an old part, but we can fix it but no one in town has the parts, ha!. He tried to get me to come look at the part even though I had just been shown at the other place, and I continued to tell him that. I also mentioned when I arrived that I was the one who had requested the hub cap, and he just shrugged it off. I started to get loud with him because I was just at another auto shop I was shown the damage, and I have the receipt for the work they did. Bruce continued to deny that it was their problem. I told him I wanted my car so I could go back to the other place to have it fixed since he had wasted my time. I could have had fixed and done already . He then proceeded to yell to everyone in the shop about how "this lady" is trying to blame it on us when its an old part. Really!? Who does this in a professional work environment? Do not go here!

Both Jamie and Bruce were very friendly but, unfortunately, they were not willing to budge more than $500 off sticker price, and Bruce gave us a story about how much it would cost to fix the dents/scratches on my trade in that we know wasnt true. My fiance has been a service tech at a dealership and it doesnt cost anywhere near the amount he was telling us it would cost him. (Hey, maybe it does in Cedar Rapids since were from a smaller town, but we didnt buy it.) I specifically asked Jamie over phone/email if they made good deals before we took the hour and a half drive and she told me they did. $500 off sticker is no where near a good deal in my opinion. Im not sure if we just picked the wrong vehicle to try to make a deal on (we were told the owners wife had been driving it, which was apparent by the extremely dirty front center storage compartment) or if they dont budge on any of their vehicles prices. The comment that got me was when she said it wouldnt even be worth it for us to put $500 down, but they were only willing to take $500 off sticker. How is that worth it? They were very friendly and did try to sell us something else, but we werent interested. I left a message with my info in case they changed their mind, but my message was read and not responded to. If you dont mind paying asking price, go here and youll have a wonderful experience with their friendliness! If you want a deal, Id recommend somewhere else.

Had 1 truck in to fix problem, paid thinking it was fixed. Nope. 2nd truck went in, fixed 1 problem but not the other 3. Theyre good at saying oh just dump some of this in that and itll stop. NO IT DOESNT. Still dealing with the same problems that were supposed to be fixed. Cant say Id recommend them. Update: benefit of the doubt given decided to take our truck in to have both O2 Sensors changed(we brought the news parts we bought from parts store) was given price of $80. No call when truck was finished. Upon arrival both men in shop had major attitudes. They didnt change both just 1 and that one looked like a 2 year old wired it in, yes wired in. Proceeded to try and make me out to be a liar over ticking truck is still doing. Let them listen to recorded videos Id made over the last few weeks, they looked floored.. I finally asked about their crappy attitude and disrespectful behavior the response Bruce gave me was because of my review of their business. Still absolutely no attempt to make anything right with us. By the way their $80 for changing both, labor etc turned into $120.00 for changing 1, labor etc. Stand by my 1st DO NOT RECOMMEND
