A year ago, I bought a computer at this store with the PROMISE that if I bought the service plan, ANYTHING that went wrong with the computer would be cause for REPLACEMENT. That was a LIE which I found out October 27, 2014 when I brought the computer in for repair. Today, November 5, they FINALLY are sending the computer out for repair. That was NOT what Charles told me when I bought the computer and service plan. They have been sitting on their collective tuchases for over a week. I had to call AGAIN to get things rolling. I seriously doubt they do any kind of screening when they hire people. They are inept, lie, are lazy (otherwise my computer would have been tended to without ME having to PUSH them), and are inconsiderate of their customers. I hope this deters EVERYONE from dealing with this business. Best Buy has trained, competent, knowledgeable, and customer-friendly people working at their store in Crystal Lake. Oh, and when I bought the computer, I was charged $50 to have my old computers hard drive put on a disk. I never got that disk and they never refunded my $50. Shop there at your own risk.

Every time I need something here and check out, the cashiers never say thank you. This is my number one pet peeve. Since when did "have a good day" replace a good old fashioned "thank you" ? Or better yet, how about "thank you, and have a nice day", which they would promptly get a reply like "thanks and you do the same". But you dont even get a "have a good day" here. Sometimes I will wait for the cashier to say something and they just give you a blank look like "what?" We need another office supply in town where the cashiers say "thank you" because I literally dread going in here from the lack of any appreciation.
Must be a poorly managed store. I have been sorely disappointed with all phases of service lately. Did buy a great desk at a great price, but getting info on the building options from outside vendors was like speaking Greek to the associate helping me!
Put on hold twice. Hung up on twice. I just need to know how much color copies are. Is that so difficult to answer? TERRIBLE customer service. As Im typing this , Im currently on hold for the third time. AWEFUL.
Great place to shop for all your office supplies, technology and office furniture. Nobody else around sells office furniture. The staff is the most friendly group around.
Usual has what your looking if not will order it for you and ship to your home at no cost to the consumer
