I financed a 2007 nightster almost two months ago from this dealership. I saw it online and instantly wanted it. The bike had really low miles (less than 3k), was in incredible condition, and the price was great for it. After my sales rep Rick did some number crunching, he discounted the bike for me so that I could afford it, and keep the monthly payments in the range I told him I could afford. That was the first great thing they did for me. It took a few days for me to actually receive my bike since a few parts were being ordered to make the bike perfect (as well as receiving a temporary plate since the DMV was down at the time), but once I rode it, it felt completely worth the wait. I loved everything about the bike. After some riding, the air filter cover ended up rattling/falling off the bike; I accepted that this can happen, and since it was just cosmetic, it wouldnt be warrantied. I called my sales rep Rick and left a message asking about it, and if they had the permanent plate (unbeknownst to me he was on vacation at that time). After a few weeks, I noticed an intermittent electrical issue that was happening ever-so often with my gauges; and when Rick called me shortly after telling me that the new plate had arrived, he said that they could check out the bike and see what they could do. Zack at the Service center talked to me about the issue, and managed to squeak the electrical issue into my warranty, helping me out a great deal. They checked into it, fixed a short they found, test rode it, and gave it back at no cost to me. That was the second great thing they did. On the ride home though, the electrical issue happened again, as well as a few new issues I noticed with the bike. I left a message with Zack that night and the next morning, which just happened to be his day off. I left a harshly written review here, due to the unfortunate timing of all my calls, and the General Manager Bob called me almost immediately. He apologized for any inconvenience, took the bike back the next day, and gave me a loaner so that I could enjoy a trip I was planning the day after that. That was the third great thing they did for me. When they took it back, they test rode it until the electrical issue happened, then fixed everything they could possibly find that wasnt absolutely perfect on the entire bike. From re-routing the wiring harness under the seat to avoid future pinching issues and adjusting the clutch, to properly adjusting the air ride p.s.i to perfection and even replacing the entire air filter assembly. Then they washed, waxed and detailed it; Again, at no cost to me. Now the bike is looking and running better than ever, and I havent seen that pesky electrical issue re-appear. That was the fourth great thing they did for me. As long as you dont try and call someone on their day off, you wont be disappointed with any interaction; and these guys definitely deserve their days off. Everyone there has a passion for what they do and will go above and beyond to ensure you are happy with your bike, and your experience with them. If I ever finance another Harley, itll be here. Id recommend this dealership to absolutely anyone.

Let me start off by saying this that the people that work at Gengras Harley Davidson made me feel welcomed from the second i walked in the door. I went into harley blind never had rode a bike and didnt know a thing about them. I have always said that i wanted to get a harley for years. I had a friend who worked in service and had a bike and told me to come down their too look at what we had and to get more information on bikes. So i did and i was helped out by a gentleman name Eric who was extremely knowledgeable about harleys. He had me sit on a few bikes to see how they felt for me talked about the motor size and what would be good for a beginner rider. Then i saw her i laid my eyes on a 2008 sportster nightster and fell in love with her. I told them this is the bike for me no questions. I put a deposit on the bike that same day feeling very comfortable about my experience at their store. I had my bike a week later and 3 days after i purchased in i was glued to my bike couldnt get me off of it. This was the best purchase i have ever made and it was made so easy and stress free by everyone at the store. I have since built a relationship with many of the associates at Gengras I can walk in their and they great me by my name and always are very friendly and strike up a conversation with me asking about the bike and what not. I have since customized my bike in many ways but if it was not for the staff at Gengras I would prob not be a Harley rider. I could never say one thing bad about Gengras Harley every experience has been amazing and I will not think to go anywhere else for my bike because they set the bar so high in my books.

Count the stars and look where they fall. I have purchased at least 5 Harleys in central Connecticut over the past ten years and its pretty obvious to me that dealerships rise and fall based upon their management team. Without blowing smoke up anyones A$$ I can tell you, without hesitation, that Gengras has the best team out there at any one dealership in many many years. Bob and Bryan are men of their word. A handshake on a deal is good enough for me. They stand by their word and their product. My advice to you is that if you live within 100 miles, make your best deal anywhere else and then go to Gengras. Then you will know what youve got. Lots of dealers use smoke and mirrors on your trade and jack up the new bike, or vice versa. As for service, I had a problem recently with an air shock line. It happened just before closing time and my bike was basically crippled, because I could not ride it like it was. They dropped everything and put a mechanic on my bike. It was fixed just after closing time, but they went the extra mile. Steve and Roger in parts are the best Ive ever dealt with in any Harley dealer from here to Sturgis. They have both been in the business for a very long time. Back to the stars. Youll see some negative ratings below. Those people are no longer at Gengras. The ratings are from long ago. Go ahead and find out for yourself. I tried to make a deal with Gengras a few years ago and walked away. They were nice enough back then, but I just couldnt make a deal. The new team is a breath of fresh air and will hopefully be there for a long time to come. Safe riding! Keep the shiny side up.

BUYER BEWARE !!! NOTHING BUT LIES FROM THE VERY BEGINNING !! These folks on the Ducati side are the most unprofessional people I have ever came across. I was interested in a used 2006 Suzuki GSXR that they were selling and the the sales rep & his manager could not get the paper work correct and were also trying to sneak things into the contract. They kept trying to make me purchase all these types of insurances that would drive the cost of my loan up significantly. They also claimed that the bike had been thoroughly inspected, tune ups, oil changes had been done before putting it for sale but they couldnt provide any diagnostic papers showing what was done to the bike. FALSE !!! Those idiots did absolutely nothing to the bike. Even though it was a bad experience from day one I still decided to buy the bike because I couldnt find anything in my price range and style of the bike in the 250 mile area that I was searching in. After a couple of months I decided to check the spark plugs and they were so burned & black to the point that I didnt know how the bike was functioning on these plugs. I checked the air filter and it was the same outcome. The filter was black, crusty & hard. All this dealer did was change the brake pads on the bike when they got it in their posession. STAY AWAY from this place at all cost. Save yourself from the headaches, stupidity & lies to try to get you into a vehicle/motorcycle. Best advice I can offer is that even if you have to go somewhere else & pay a bit more for a motorcycle or travel further, I highly suggest that you do just that & stay away from this place and their shameful practices.
