As a repeat customor at this location I have to say after my most recent experience I am FURIOUS as the level of customer service and that I ever gave them a dime!!! Buyer beware do not work with this company! Anthony made the first mistake of saying we could get 2 cars done in one day, and then not having the first one done until 6pm, so to start we had to return following day to leave the 2nd vehicle and pick up the 1st vehicle. I specifically stated we wanted to pay for the entire balance for both vehicles the 2nd morning to which Anthony responded it was only the 2nd car that needed paid for as my husband and him already took care of the car from the day before. I paid for the 2nd vehicle and a family member picked the car up later this day... but this is where the problem started. I got one follow up call from Anthony 4 days following our appointments stating that he needed to touch base with us but nothing further, no other messages or any kind and I figured it was a follow up call on how things were going and I was busy and did not return the call as I did not think it was pertinant. I got a disturbing phone call Saturday afternoon that stated "it was Anthony and since we did not pay for the work that was done in our truck and I was avoiding his calls he was going to have to, involve the authorities and put a lien on our vehicle for the work that was done and that I should consider taking care of the balance". The message was so unproffessional & infuriating I cannot express in words... No one should ever call someone whom you have had no contact with about a mistake you made and leave a threatening message like this. Car Toys made the error of not collecting a payment on the 1st vehicle, not informng us about it at all with the exception of 1 follow up message saying they were following up but no indication of a problem and then the 2nd message say we are avoiding paying a bill and they are calling the cops. If all of the salesmen at this place of business are like Anthony I would not go within 10 feet of the front door. What goes around comes around...and this business will not stay in business if they continue to treat good repeat customers like this!

I’m not basing my rating on two separate visits. My first visit several years ago, when I went into a Car Toys to buy a part for my radio. The sales clerk went into the back room to grab the part. As he walked out, he saw another customer who just walked in, walked right past me, and ended up talking to her. I left after waiting for 15 minutes for him to just even acknowledge me. Recently, I was incredibly hesitant to ever go back, but after buying a new car the car salesmen recommended going to Car Toys for a remote car start, because it was less expensive then at the dealership. I decided to give it another shot. The sales guy was nice. They couldn’t install it the same day, which I understood, so I was told to come back next week and I’d be the first one on the list. So I came back first thing the next week, and then I was told I’d be 5th on the list so they couldn’t do it that same day as promised, and if I could come back the next day and I’d be first on the list. I then told the salesman that I was told to come back today, and I’d be first on the list, as I had an appointment. I was then informed on how Car Toys doesn’t make “appointments,” and how they were still backed up from Christmas (it was February when I did this). Instead of messing with it, I just asked for a refund, which the salesman, much to his credit, gladly handles. But it still pisses me off…if they don’t make appointments, then why tell me to come back a week or a day later, then tell me I’ll be first? It felt like an episode of “Seinfeld.” (“I know what and appointment is, sir.” “No, I don’t think you do, because if you did, my car would be the first install as promised last week.”) Basically, the sales guys will tell you you’ll be first for the install on the day, but when you get there if there’s anyone in front of you, you’re screwed. I guess you have to get there at 4 am to stand in line for your “appointment.”

I am writing this review do to a bad experience I had in the past. Needles to say the place who done it is no longer in business Ultimate electronics. I had paid 1,500 to upgrade my factory sound system in my 1998 rugged 4 Runner. The job was done so bad that when the manager asked me what it would take to make me happy I answered please put my factory system back!! Thankfully this was not the case in my recent experience with Car Toys!! Like most of us I was drawn there by a Red Tent Sale & a broken stereo!! The sale staff was easy to work with but the one person who stood out was my install technician. I would like to recommend this highly skilled Tech "Curtis L" He is very Personable Knowledgeable also a great Communicator. Well to make it short He was able to recommend a ken-wood double dim stereo that would flow natural with my 2002 Nissan Frontier. He was able to integrate this deck with a factory installed Rockford/Fosgate Amp that made all my interior speakers come alive. He also recommended to add a small in line Kicker 200 watt amp to push a factory installed 10 inch Sub. The end result was unexpected sounds amazing for being a factory system!! He concealed both amps so you just do not know where the power comes from!! " Best of all he was able to work with my not so easy budget" Married with children now lets say not allot!! Curtis thanks for your clean work it is greatly appreciated!! I may not have been the easiest of customers. But thanks for changing how I feel about fixing up a factory stereo system. This nice Deck added- Blue tooth- Pandora -Sirius Radio its so On!!

I visited this store earlier last month to have a new radio installed in my car. I walked into the store and was immediately greeted by a salesperson. They asked me a few questions and then asked if they could go out and have a look at my car. The salesperson excused himself and came back with an installer. I think his name was Doug. We all went out to my car and had me turn on my stereo to see what they were going to be working with. Little did I know that one of my rear speakers wasnt even working. We all went back inside and the installer knew right off the top of his head what size speakers would fit the car and my listening habits. He explained the parts I would need for the stereo to be fit into my car and all the installation costs involved. He then excused himself and defined what the salesperson was going to show me in the audio listening rooms. The salesperson encouraged me to bring in my own music from my car and played the different speakers that would fit into my car. We went to the register and the salesperson totaled everything up for me. I went into the store expecting to maybe pay $100 or so. My total bill was a little more than $400. I felt the entire time that the staff at cartoys was there to help me and not just trying to sell me something I didnt need. I left very happy. I have been to other stores in the past, most of which are not in business anymore. I think that the people at cartoys are at the top of their profession. They have earned a customer for life from me. If you are in the need for a new stereo I would definitely check out the cartoys in northglenn.
