I moved to Colorado in 2012 and left my car in California. Desperately in need of a car and with one model on my mind, I had my friend drive me to Sprinkler. After bargaining for an hour, and settling on a price of $6000 out the door, I told my friend he could leave. The guys at sprinkler knew they had me trapped. While looking over the paper work, I noticed the total came out to $7000 after tax and title. I called them out, but they denied ever telling me that I would be out the door for $6k. At this point, I just wanted to get the hell out of there, so I accepted their bullshit as that of a typical used car salesman. Over the next week, I realized how full of crap they actually were. They told me the car had been completely looked over and given a tune-up. * There was duct tape residue on the window (I initially thought it was from a pricing sticker) to, at one time, hold up the window that had broken rollers and regulator. * The throttle body had been reset from limp-home mode so that it would drive normally for a short period of time. * The car had been wrecked on the drivers side, although they told me it was free of any body damage. A week after owning it, the Bondo on the door cracked open and exposed their lie. * The "new" brake pads and rotors were nearly gone. * The tires all had slow (2-3 days) leaks. * The wrong spark plugs were installed. After realizing that I was driving a car that was ready to fall apart, I received a call from Sprinkler offering me an auto warranty. I basically looked at it like financing a new engine, so I accepted the $2000 cost. A emailed Sprinkler later that night to try to cancel, but they told me, "Sorry but the complete deal has been mailed off already. You could always try it out for 3 or so months then cancel it through bellco. Have to wait untill deal is funded to cancel. Payment wont drop but it will be 1950 less that you have to pay at end of contract. Dont know what you read but its a great warranty." I tried to make a claim with the warranty company, but the representative would never follow through with repairing my cars issues. Let me remind you that this is a warranty company that came highly recommended by Sprinklers Willie. I decided to wait a couple months to see if I would have any other major failures. I dont drive the car much, so the prorated refund on the warranty should have been high. After a few months the car wasnt getting any worse, so I cancelled the warranty. My turbo failed the same week. And if I wasnt kicking myself already, my warranty refund just came in at $415.42. WHAT?! Thank you, Sprinkler, for steering me in the completely wrong direction and selling me a car that was in no way "looked over and tuned-up." These people are scum. There were red flags everywhere, but I chose to proceed without caution. Take your time when buying a used car, and steer clear from the guys at Sprinkler.

These are your typical used car salesmen without a doubt. They turned on the "Salesman Charm" sure enough at the front, but once they had my money the slime-ball owner wouldnt even look me in the eye when I had a problem! I bought a car that I was told was "all checked out and good to go", but less than 25 MILES after the purchase the check engine light came on whilst I was on my way to work at 5:00 a.m. (I work 50 miles away and only commute home on the weekends) I got a coupon from Sprinklers to get the inspection done so I had planned to have the emissions test done down in Denver during the week. I was very clear with the salesman that I would NOT be coming back up north within that first week - "No problem" he says, "If it fails the inspection it will probably be the gas cap" (Should have set off alarms I guess, but he was still applying the good ol Salesman Charm). According to the paperwork, if I waited to get the car tested, after the 3 day period all repairs were on my dime - well according to Sprinklers interpretation I had to bring the car back to THEM within those 3 days for THEM to repair. Well of course, a check engine light is an automatic fail, so the gents at the inspection place advised me to have it checked out - and lo and behold the catalytic converter had failed!! Surprise Surprise...NOT. When I tried to call my salesman, he doesnt answer (of course). I pay for the new Cat Converter, and then get the car inspected. It passed of course because it had a NEW Cat Converter!! Sprinklers answer to my request for even a partial reimbursement was denied. I have NO DOUBT that that check engine light was on when they bought the car and they just had their mechanic reset it before they put it out on the lot and I said as much to the salesman when I finally got to speak to him. Of course he waffled "Well we dont know that for sure". What a load of BS! He claimed that I was REQUIRED to bring the car to them for repair and that they could have fixed it for half of what I paid. BS. What I would have gotten I can only imagine would have been a half-a$$ed repair that would have no doubt had to be redone before the year was out. Typical USED CAR SALES CREEPS. I will NEVER buy another car from them. And will, without hesitation tell everyone I know to avoid these people like the plague!!

As you see below from other reviews, have your car checked out before you buy. IF they let you, they say they encourage you to do so but, they would not allow me to do that. The deal became very shady when I requested to have it checked by my mechanic before I buy. Now all of a sudden they have other buyers and appointments...the car cant leave the lot etc.. RiiGHT!! ...All they can say as a response to the multiple bad reviews below is "weve been in business for 30 years. Walk away. Since I cannot respond directly to your response, I will say here for all to see. Your response is the classic BS. #1 My husband came in.. not my father. Really?? #2 I never said my mechanic was in Loveland and I did call after I left, I talked to Brett and I asked if I could take it Friday to my mechanic and miraculously this supposed buyer was suddenly "approved:" So I then said to him that I would plan on coming in on Monday to see if it indeed sold and if not, I would see if we could take it in. I also told him they would only need it a short time, not all day. He never said there were appointments. NOBODY ever said there were appointments, that is a straight out lie. I never said the deal wasnt right or good, I only said I wanted to confirm the car was in great working order so my minor son wouldnt have to incur huge repair bills shortly after spending his hard earned money. I would never expect anyone to take a loss for my benefit, you cannot deny that I never asked for you to hold the car or do something for me unreasonable, I verbally said to both you and Brett that if you sold the car in the meantime, GREAT!! It was just very clear to me and now to my husband that you were trying to force me to take the deal on Friday and since I didnt, you made it difficult and unprofessional. I only wish you the best in your future "deals".
