This place has amazing coffee, bakery items, and super friendly baristas. They have both iced and hot coffee drinks including lattes, french press, drip, pour over, nitro cold brew coffee on tap. They have a comfortable coffee bar to sit at where you can watch the baristas prepare drinks. There is also a sitting area outside with shade and tables with chairs where you can watch kids play with the water sprinklers during the summer. Or you can grab your coffee and hang out in Union Station itself. They also make affogato using ice cream from the Milkbox ice cream shop next door. Affogato is a scoop of ice cream with a shot if espresso coffee poured on top. Pigtrain makes the best affogato in Colorado! Pigtrain is one of the best coffee shops in Denver. They are inside Union Station where there are often events going on inside&outside. And there are other places to get food or drinks literately within 50 feet or 10 feet. Pigtrain is also fast, so if you are in a hurry then they got your back. Pigtrain has great coffee, great atmosphere and good people working there. Check them out!

The coffee is good. The location is charming and fun to experience. Customer service is okay and can be rude. I understand they see lots of people come through the coffee shop, but your appearance is key to how your treated. When dressed up nicely, customer service is fine. When your dressed more casual (hat and very little makeup), service is terrible. I would think the location would bring lots of diverse people to buy coffee, so all customers would be valued. Not my experience. Ive personally experienced it both ways. If you go often, try dressing up and then dressing down as an experiment and youll understand my review. There are plenty of other coffee places to choose from that have better customer service. If you prefer your surroundings over service, this would be your place!

Takeaway-oriented coffee shop off the waiting area for a major train station. Constant stream of takeaway customers. Jazz on the audio, relatively loud, but needs to be over the noise of a busy train station. A bar with 6-7 stools is the only seating area, though one could of course sit out in the train station. Theres a couple of doors to the outside, and big windows, directly behind the stools. I got alternately baked by the December sun and frozen when someone opened a door. There are a couple of outlets under the bar, and free wi-fi with passwords. High ornamental ceiling with ducts. Good selection of high quality bagged teas and pastries. Good selection of packaged takeaway lunch things. Friendly staff. This is a 3.5 rounded up, as its just barely adequate for working.

Pigtrain Coffee is the perfect complement to doing homework in the train station, a caffeine buzz before an Amtrak journey or hitting up tourist spots close by. They have espresso cocktails, drink specials and always have fresh juices & kombucha near the pastries. Speaking of the pastries.... VEGAN POPSTERS. The classier pop pastry. Stuffed with fruit and wrapped in the best vegan pastry dough Ive ever had. Even when busy, service is typically quick & courteous. My one complaint is that most iced drinks without any flavor or syrup just arent that good. Green tea latte HOT is the best Ive ever had, iced is definitely the worst. Iced coffee and lattes arent super good plain but since trying the iced caramel latte Im pretty pleased.

One of my favorite places to grab a cup of coffee in LoDo. They use quality beans, are a friendly bunch, and keep things moving along at a good pace. The prices are typical for a local coffee house. I tend to grab a cup on the way to work, but there are good seating options as well. They have a counter, but also great outdoor seating near the fountains. Normally I just hang out in the station building, if I am hanging around. Cant beat that. Although I dont eat the food here, it does look really good. The bakery goods are not the typical, mass-produced items you would see at the chain coffee houses.

I take the lightrail to work and lectures every day and I always stop by Pig Train at least once a day. The products are a tad on the expensive end but I have never had a bad server or a bad experience. The staff is always willing to serve you until the last minute at closing and the selection of Kombucha and other packaged drinks is usually very nice and convenient if I dont have time to wait for a personalized drink. The night staff also has a wonderlust crew that is always smiling when I have been here after 22:00. If you are at Union Station, I highly recommend going to Pig Train.

Specialty coffee drinks for under $5 that are absolutely delicious. I get a hazelnut latte everywhere I go and was more than impressed by the quality of the ingredients and how well they blend together. As for the customer service I see everyone complaining about, I went in dressed like a mismatched hippie and was treated kindly, not to mention I had 8 minutes to get to my train with 10 or so orders in front of mine and I had my latte in under 6 sooo everything about my experience was beyond satisfactory

Having worked in LoDo for 2 years - Pigtrain was my go to coffee joint! Awesome baristas and the coffee is hard to beat, no one nearby comes close. The chai latte and the vanilla latte are both great. Dont pass up on the baked goods either though, theyre a completely separate reason to visit! Recommend the chocolate dipped coconut macaroons and homemade pop tarts. Another plus - open early and close late...and its an excuse to walk in Union Station which is beautiful.

Coldest Hot Cocoa ever! I ordered a large Hot Chocolate and it was served to me at a room temperature. I asked for them to make it again- this time "hot". The barista looked at me like I was crazy and reluctantly did so. The second time it was maybe a degree warmer. I guess a hot beverage means 80 degrees Fahrenheit to them. My friends cocoa was so cold, the whipped cream didnt melt, but stayed congealed on top. Last time I pay for an overpriced chocolate milk.

Excellent coffee. A "must-visit" location for coffee lovers, for sure. Ive had a mocha and an iced Americano. As any good coffee lover will tell you, you know its good when you dont have to dump milk and sugar to make something taste good, and an Americano is a good test of that. Their coffee is rich, flavorful, and with very mild high notes. Plus, their espresso machines are beautiful, done up with wooden pulls.

Union Station used to be drab, seedy, empty, and, frankly, a bit scary. Now its a vibrant, lively, hip, busy, and safe place. Best of all, theres great coffee at Pigtrain Coffee. Well, my mocha was excellent, for sure. Great place to grab a cup of coffee and a snack before you board the new light rail train to the airport. Your trip will be much more enjoyable with a Pigtrain coffee.

I ordered a white chocolate mocha and an iced vanilla latte. The mocha was poorly mixed with most of the syrup at the bottom and both were handed to me without lids or cardboard sleeves. They just pointed to the lids and said "lids are over there". What would I need a lid for? I gave it two stars because I can imagine it being worse but I probably wont come back.
