As openly and objectively as can and must be stated................... Blindside is, hands down, the absolute best, period. This shops tuning ability is unparalleled to the point of being the best within the state of Colorado, if not one of the two or three best within the entire central West, for that matter the country. Yes, the entire country. While one or two other retailers within Colorado Springs are of reknown, neither, especially the most dedicated possesses the true capability, passion and dedicated perfection in end result servivce and tuning. And I say this from personal experience. Blindside effectively blew me away with their tuning service. This IS what real expertise, experience, visceral knowledge and superior quality IS all about. Any skier who is not familiar/experienced with the monumental difference a superior full tuning and superior (unparalleled) waxing can and does make on great equipment will experience something that will be beyond profound. And dedicated skiers who are serious about realizing the best - and its a learning curve, guys and gals, have no idea what they are missing until they pass through this shop! While no one business can be all things to all people, if you demand the absolute best and desire your equipment to perform to its maximum intended level - and, as a result realize better performance and satisfaction on your part, this is the only place to turn to............. You will realize something that no other shop can remotely touch! Thank you Blindside, you are the unparalleled best, period!

Initially I really liked this shop, the people were nice and the guy at the front counter adjusted my bindings for me. I also left my wifes snowboard and mine, one to be waxed, the other to be waxed and tuned. Two days later I had not received a call to pick up my boards so I called them. They said one was completed but the other hadnt been touched, so I gave them another day. When I went to pick them up the girl at the front counter told me it was going to be $40. I said your website says $10 for a wax and 20 for a wax and tune. She replied "ya, sorry our prices changed a while ago." She was rude and wouldnt honor the website pricing. They did a great job on the boards but poor customer service and misleading website prices make it hard for me to ever want to return to them for my snowboarding needs. UPDATE. Owner contacted me and explained everything. Compensated me promptly and apologized. Way to make a second chance effort and win back my business and recommendations. Thank you.

This shop is hands down amazing. I came in to buy a pair of snowboard boots, and Jon the shop owner spent a great deal of time getting me the best fit. All of the boots he sells are hand picked by himself as brands he believes are the best around - meaning none of that cheap burton stuff! Jon is truly an expert in board/ski boots - he studied the art of boot fitting for several years and actually has a certificate to prove it! He explained to me things about boot fitting that I never knew, and that actually contradicted what other board shops have always led me to believe. I left the shop way more knowledgeable, with a pair of boots (thirtytwo tm-2) that I now absolutely love. Whatever gear I need for upcoming snowboard adventures, I am definitely coming back to this place. Thanks for all your help Jon!

Simply amazing. Long story short, it has been a few years since I have gone snowboarding, after my one and only day last season I decided to get back into it bringing some new gear with me. I walked into this shop with no knowledge of the sport (because its been so long) or the newest technology and products. I wish I knew the guys name that helped me out but he was awesome!!! Some of the best customer service I have ever seen, even after talking for about 30 minutes, and I didnt even make a purchase that day. I will be back in a few weeks to make my purchase and they have my service for life!! I have already recommended them to a few friends. We need more local shops like this!

Id heard good things about Blindside, but I was blown away when I took my 2007 Ride DH in to get a Coreshot repaired. A friend had gone to Colorado Ski and Golf to get his repaired and paid 47 dollars, NOT INCLUDING a tune. I took my board which had a good square inch chunk missing from the base, Jon repaired it professionally, and gave me the best tune Ive ever had on this board for 25 dollars. He mixes the waxes (all purl) to match the average temperature of the snow for the week. By far the best professional tune, done with care and passion. Also happened to be the cheapest, though the quality would never show it. Cant recommend this enough. Im telling my friends.

Toooo expensive. I understand overhead and cost but their nice but 219 for a nickel board? And yes I said your cheap board and was pointed there. Secondly if you dont know wooden nickel board is why are you having a store advertise that you guys know what long boards nickel boards and skateboards are. It takes a special kind is person to run a store that advertise that you know what this equipment is when you have absolutely no clue. For your information and nickel board is a different size of board.

Amazing! I have to say hands down best service Ive had at any shop. The guys are obviously passionate at what they do! I love the down to earth feel of the local shop, and you dont get the snobby Im better than you attitude that many of the other places in town have. I got a sweet setup, sweet deal, and I cant wait to try it out! Ive always recommended Blindside to friends, and Ill make sure to keep up the trend! THANKS!

Guys are real nice, appreciate the local feeling of the shop but tune up sucked. Edges were rounded, not sharpened, wax was done quickly and poorly, etc..granted, it was about half the price of other shops, but not worth my money. I have heard mixed reviews from people around here so if youre tight on cash give it a shot and cross your fingers, otherwise head to the Ski Shop.

Sick shop! John, the owner is the man, doesnt sell the crapy bigger corporate brands like burton and sells stuff that he and his team rides. Knows the gear, spends as much time as needed till your happy and wont sell you the highest priced item but what you need. Def the best shop in the springs if not the front range.

This place is great! They have everything you need and the staff is very knowledgeable. I went in during the end of season snow sale and they gave an extra percentage off of everything in the store for paying with cash instead of card. Help them out by paying cash and theyll help you out.

My previous review stated my frustration at finding the store closed with a cardboard sign in the window during posted operating hours. The owner reached out to me to explain the extenuating circumstances which resulted in the store closing briefly during normal operating hours.

Great local store on the Westside. The guy who runs it is always friendly every time I go in. The new bigger location is a huge improvement, If you havent been in since they moved, go check it out. Friendly people, and locally owned, why go anywhere else?
