This is my experience with them: I had my bike there about a year ago. Had two new tires installed. When I picked it up I was told that the valve stems will need to be replaced at some point too... uhm what!? I asked why that wasnt just done at the same time since the tires were off already and now I would pay again for basically the same work, the answer "oh we dont want to charge customers for things they didnt approve", to which I replied that no rider in their right mind would have a problem with adding a $10 part if it means that they dont crash because of a sudden flat or have to pay for all the labor again to take off the tires. I also said that they could have just called me and I would have approved that over the phone, its a no brainer. Last Saturday I wanted to ride and went to get air in the tires when the valve stem broke off and air was gushing out. I called a couple of other shops and asked what they would do if that were to happen and the guy said "obviously replace the valve stem because that could be dangerous" and is an easy thing to explain. I always give everyone a chance to make it right, but there is a principle involved. At the time I offered the service guy to make it right and said that I could come back another day if he just fixes that and I only pay for the new valve stem. He didnt want to do that. Now I am no longer a customer of theirs (we made our first purchase there in 2001) and when talking to other riders will promote other options in the area. From this experience and other reviews it seems that a lot of their issues could be mitigated by significantly improving their communication skills.

Had an extremely negative experience with this place. I have been buying from them for last 7 years- purchasing over $50,000 of goods and services (2 snowmobiles and 5 atvs) Several months ago, I consigned 2 atvs and a Triton Trailer to them. They agreed to a 10% commission on the ATVs. After 5 months, ATVs did not sell. When I returned to renew the agreements at lower prices, I found myself dealing with a new Sales Manager (John Bobela). According to John- to renew the consignment agreements, he required that I lower the atv prices by over $2,500 and agree to a commission as high as they can get. The terms were quite onerous. I thought this was strange way to deal given the amount I have spent over several years- but OK- fair enough- they want to make money. But when I said no- and wanted all the items returned- they told me they lost the extra set of keys to the ATVs, lost the paper work I provided to them on the ATVs and lost the locking lug nut to the trailer wheels (yikes). And they said all this without ANY mention of regret or apology. And Oh... "please come get your stuff back quickly as we need room in our yard". I even spoke to the Owner (Kurt), who expressed no regret for how I was treated. Bottom line- despite being a loyal customer, I was treated quite poorly. I have been a manager of people for about 15 years and have not seen a more inept Sales Manager when it comes to customer relations. The prior sales staff was great. But apparently they left shortly after the new management was put in place. I understand why. Anyway- be cautious when transacting with these guys.

This place sucks!! I knew better - I took a bike there like 10 yrs ago, had to take it back twice (and was charged more each time), and they still didnt fix it right. I naively thought Id give them another try last week and brought my R1 there for a 5k service for $265. The service was to include an oil change and fluids flush. I figured ok... But, then they charged for additional "labor and parts", such as OIL and shop materials. The inspection was minimal (not 2.5 hrs as they claimed), almost nothing but an oil change was done, and the nerve to charge me an added $25 for the oil itself!? $265 (for an included oil change) and they want to charge extra for oil?! (wtf?!). Furthermore, I told them that I had some sort of minor oil leak, (a small puddled had formed while storing it for the winter), and asked them to diagnose the leak. They said they could find No leak. However, once getting it home and parking it, no more than a day later there was another small pool of oil. Clearly there is in fact a leak, that they would have more than likely found had they done as thorough an inspection as they claimed they did. They did a half assed inspection at best, and suggested other maintenance which would have cost me over $700 ( and wasnt really necessary). So, all said and done, with a new battery added, they still hit me up for almost $500. For an inspection, oil change and battery! I could have had the same service done on my Audi S4 for less!!!! What a joke!! I guess theyre too use to the Boulder crowd who are willing to just go along with some inflated bill and put it on their credit card. Clowns....

Right after I bought my bike it suddenly started running so rich it was fowling the plugs and would hardly run. The guys at Power Sports said I needed to have the carb re-jetted and charged me $500 to re-jet it and tune it. It did run better for an hour or two until I put it away for the winter and for the first hour in the spring ( I did put gas stabilizer in it). Then it stated doing exactly the same thing again. I wasnt a happy camper. I took it by to have them take a look at it and see if I could make an appointment to have them work on it again. The service rep was arrogant and rude. Im 60 years old and Ive never had a service rep treat me that way. He told me they dont make appointments. I mentioned that their materials said that if you brought it in before 9 it would be ready by 6. He said "thats just for oil changes and tire changes, if you want us to diagnose and fix a problem, you have to just bring it in and leave it with us for at least two weeks". I then told him that I had it out front, that it was barely running, that I lived up in the mountains, and asked if I could borrow a wrench to get my spark plugs out and clean them off so I could get it started and try to get it back home. I offered to leave a deposit if he wanted. And at that point he very curtly said "We never loan out any tools" and turned around and walked away. They may think they can get away with treating people that way because theyre the only place in Boulder, but Ill go to Denver before I go back there again.
