I have shopped at this store on more than one occassion. The store has a very large drink selection is you like unique drinks as well as a huge fresh fruit and vegetable department. My givng the store only one star comes from the lack of store employees checking dates and keeping expired items on the store shelves. The past two times that I have gone to this store I have unknowingly came home with items that were outdated... (Best By Date)... I specificaly went to this store for one item, freeze dried cherry tomatoes. I found the tomatoes in the chip aisle, bought them, brought them home, opened up the packaging and began to eat them. Although they tasted fine I later noticed that the best by date was over 7 months ago. We as consumers spend money that we work hard for and we should expect to get a decent product for the money we spend. Like most of us I dont have extra cash lying around to spend on a product that is expired and or unuseable. I also do not have the time and do not feel like wasting the gas to return the product. This store offers a lot in the way of choices, just be sure to check dates on any product you intend to purchase.

These people see a single mother withe her kids and a diaper bag and they assume that you are shop lifting. Im getting ready to pay and this lady starts looking at my cart, not being enough she goes up to the cashier and whispers to her ear and she automatically gives me a look, after telling her that if she thinks Im steeling to look in my bag. That still not being enough that same lady comes back and reaches in to the (empty, but my sons formula and water) cart and pulls out the formula I proceed to tell her i"it was mine" she then lives. And that still NOT being enough another employee comes up to my cart and pulls out the same formula and asks the cashier if she had rang it up(you ppl dont sale baby formula). I could not take more of their embarrassing / harassment . I had to leave. Waisted my time selecting my items, time that I cant waist and never getting back . Even after talking to a so called manager, she said that that was the way they are and that the First Lady was the owner. Sad ppl like that do not need to be running a business . Never again will I go to this place again.

This place is like an Asian food shopping mall -- You can find anything you could possibly need or want for putting together a tasty Asian dish. My only complaint would be that the place is so big that it can be overwhelming and difficult to locate what youre looking for, and there arent terribly many employees to ask for help that speak English. Thankfully we had the time to wander around searching for each of our ingredients -- and we did for a good hour or more. This would have been frustrating if we had a time constraint, but instead it helped us learn the store and stumble upon and buy food items we might have never purchased otherwise. Their meat and seafood selection is very cheaply priced, and they have a wide variety of fish choices -- many that weve never seen available or heard of before. However, if you value knowing how humanely your meat and seafood was treated, as we do, you wont find any cage free, organic, or free range type designations here. Check out their prepared sushi selection for a quick bite to eat. Cheap specialty rolls? Sold.

I love that it this a one stop shop for Asian food, but there are some nuances about the store that get to be annoying. So I do love all of the food verities this store has, but I get overwhelmed every time I go there. The annoying this is that they group all of the food by nationality, and to be honest that gets a little confusing when you are getting items like seaweed, soy sauce beans or spices. I wish it were reorganized by type of food (spice, sauce, etc.), and then by nationality. The veggies are very good and reasonably priced, but I get annoyed that many things are sold as a unit, like the turmeric, mushrooms, and ginger are sold pre-packaged. I like to chose how much I want of those items, and I also dont like that they are packaged in Styrofoam. All in all, this is a great store that I highly recommend to all of my friends.

This morning I went to buy some mexican cookies , so when I arrive to home I immediately notice a very rare taste of the cookies , when I seen the expiration date , the print date was March 2016! Almost one year ago!!! Then I put to trash the entire package of cookies. Esta adana fui a comprar una galletas mexicanas cuando llegue a casa mire que ya habían expirado hace ya casi un año , tire el paquete de galletas a la basura Please always Chek expiration date food , I cant believe the government city dont pay attention against this business! I bought I cookies with almost one year expired!!!

Immediately inside the main doors youre greeted by several types of shops on either side, before you pass through into the expansive supermarket, which is itself sectioned. As of this review (8/2016), it looks like theyre still topping off the inventory: some shelves here and there are conspicuously empty. But for the few things I hoped to find that I didnt see (likely because a gallon of orange juice is hardly exotic), this market appears to deliver on being the local go-to one-stop for those occasional or regular Eastern cravings. Language barriers are not unheard of here.

I had a couple bad experiences from this place. I called and two different occasions and the two time they were extremely rude. One time I asked if they had a product that I was looking for and they didnt know what I was talking about. The next time I asked for the number of the massage place they had inside the restaurant and they told me that they weee busy and hang up on me. I also when there to get ingredients to make sushi, I bought imitation crab and whe I got home it noticed that it expired like 6 months ago. I wont go to this place again.

I dont understand the negative reviews. But today the staff was actually very nice and seemed to really try to help out. It was my first time here and I had no clue where anything I was looking for was, but even after asking one staff member multiple times about different items on my list, he remained very helpful and kind. At the end, we stopped by the Cafe and got some bubble tea, which tastes pretty good, and the serving staff was very polite. I had a good experience here and I hope to return.

The Manager has no regard of customer satisfaction or their trademark Ive been shopping here the first time it opened I was asking for a Chinese Calendar since they give it out for free every year advertising their store The manager just went off yelling in front of me in her own language saying something to the employee who was at the register all you have to say is i dont have any calendars left or just simply Sorry NO! I would understand since its a busy holiday/month...
