I have nothing but good things to say about Cactus Auto and the staff there. Over the past few years I have purchased 4 vehicles from Cactus Auto. I purchased a Dodge Intrepid, a Ford Ranger XLT, A Ford f150 Crew Cab, and an Infiniti QX4. All of these vehicles were top notch good clean quality used cars. I still own 2 of those vehicles today. One of the things I really like about Cactus auto that is different from all other dealers I have ever visited is the no pressure sales. I was on the lot and allowed to look around undisturbed. I had a staff member approach me after a short while and ask if he could help me and when I said I was just looking at the time he handed me a business card and said if I had any questions just to let him know and then left me to browse. I bought a car that day and on three other occasions after basically the same experience. I like shopping without having a salesman follow me around trying to feed me information I dont need. I am writing this review because in about three weeks I am going back to Cactus Auto to buy another vehicle. I was out the other day and was in the area and decided to stop by there to get a sneak preview of what I saw on line. I ran into Reg on the lot. He asked me if I needed help to which I replied I was just scouting out the trucks. We struck up a conversation that went from trucks to camping and even talked about the cabin I am about to build on some land I own in Northern Arizona. Now that is not your typical salesman. We stood out there and talked for about 30 min and never once did Reg try to get me in a vehicle. I told him I was just looking today and he respected that and let me do what I cam to do while expressing interest in me as an individual not just another sales. I am currently waiting on some money from a 401k installment and when that comes in about 15 days from now I am going back to see Reg and he is going to sell me the truck I want not one designated to get off the lot fast. All of the trucks I looked at have a good history and car fax is available. So if you are in the market for a good quality used car from a group of great staff, stay away from the auto mall and JimClick. Go see Reg at Cactus Auto. Dalton "Doc" Mathis Tucson,Az.

I am extremely disappointed with the owner and some of the staff regarding the Toyota Corolla I bought in May of this year. Two days after the “lemon law” warranty expired, the engine blew up as I was driving to California. Cactus Auto had the engine replaced after charging me more than they had originally stated the cost would be. This was in June. Since then, I have had a few other items fixed and replaced. In early July, I decided to get my oil changed to get ready for another trip to California and lo and behold, the mechanics found severe leakage coming from two parts of the engine compartment. I hold Cactus Auto responsible for one of the leaks. When they had the engine replaced, apparently they either did not replace the main crankshaft seal or did a bad job of replacing it. The seal was only $62.00, but the labor involved in removing the engine and the transmission was $650.00. By the way, I saw the leakage and it was extreme. When I brought this up to the owner of this shop, he took no responsibility for any damage. I want to do my part to see that no one else has to undergo what I have gone through. Id say that you can trust them to buy your car, but under no circumstances should you trust them to sell you one.

I realllllllly needed a new, dependable vehicle. I have to commute about 40 miles to and from work every day and make a lot of trips back and forth between Phoenix and Tucson on the weekends.. started seeing my mileage creep up. I knew it was only a matter of time before diving head first into a car payment. You know what has always stopped me in the past? Being a young woman who knows absolutely nothing about how to check a cars maintenance, haggling, or the language of a car salesman. Ive heard (and seen) horror stories. I already knew which car I was interested in. I saw it on their website: a 2012 VW Beetle with only 8k miles on it!! It seemed too good to be true! It was not over priced and once I visited in person saw it was in even better condition than I could have imagined. Absolutely perfect! I had to have it!! This was my first time financing a car and I was walked through the entire process. I did my financing right there at Cactus Auto and got an AMAZING rate. Who knew car buying could be so easy? No words explain my gratitude for such a friendly, helpful, honest, and respectful staff. I will refer everyone here and continue to rave about the quality of your service and staff!

Before I came to this dealership I had a pretty rotten experience with a previous one. My boyfriend bought a car here a few years back and he suggested I submit the credit application online and go from there. I checked out their inventory online and picked out the car I wanted, an 03 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I received a call the next day, I missed the call but I received an email shortly afterwards from Frank. He told me the hours he would be in the office and asked when I would be able to come in. I was able to make it in the next day and sent him the email and let him know of my interest in the Eclipse. I got there soon after 1:00 pm, within 10 minutes I test drove the car, completely fell in love with it. He still gave me the option to look for another car, but I was pretty sold on the Eclipse. The price was perfect, the car was in fantastic shape and they managed to get me a great deal on a loan through a credit union. I left within two hours with my new (to me) beautiful car with a great price. Fast, friendly service with great prices? Yes, please! I would definitely recommend this dealership, and Frank, to anyone, and I already have!

Im in Texas---my Wife is in Colorado--the car I want to buy for her is in Arizona. Dont try this at home yourself; unless you are an informed consumer; and you have an outstanding staff like the people at Cactus Auto to help make it all happen! I bought it sight unseen and had it delivered to my wife in Colorado. She had just been in a terrible accident, and while she was well protected and not injured, we lost a great vehicle to total destruction. She could not have been more delighted with the beautiful example Toyota Land Cruiser which was hand inspected and prepped by the crew at Cactus. I am confident in the excellent condition of this vehicle because of the many phone and e-mail communications I had with at least three staff members during the several days it took to consummate my transaction. Always immediately responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, kind and compassionate, this dealership gets my five star rating, and my hopes that I will have the opportunity to conduct business with them in the future.
