It was so sad to see this place change so drastically in past 5 years. We used to go there and see people performing on the stage. There was a full food court and stores filled the vast majority of spaces. Not so anymore. The stores that are left are still maintained and well staffed. The staff at Bath and Body Works cant be beat, as well as the Payless staff. There are however so many empty stores that it almost feels like a scene from a zombie flick. There also appears to be a less than desirable presence that makes quick trips in and out,to deserted corners of the mall. I mean why would I see the same guy enter the mall 6 different times in the 4 hours we were there. He came in went up the stairs and walked to the deserted end of one of the walkway, was there for about 5 minutes and walked back out again. Couldnt see what he was doing over there but I try not to let my suspicion get the best of me. Just struck me as odd behavior.

Its so sad to see this mall slowly fading away. Its down to about 25% occupancy which equates to a string "ghost town" atmosphere. There are however still very good reasons to go. Dillards Rack outlet is bargain shoppers delight. Although the selection and sizing is hit or miss I always find shirts, slacks, suits at terrific prices. I do not think youll be happy looking for the latest fashion trend here but for the basics youll be very pleased. There were only four restaurants in the food court when I visited but we love the philly cheese steak sandwiches at Charleys. The Sears is like any other but if you like lots of sales associates and no lines, youll like the convenience of this Sears. Im not sure how much longer this mall will exist, tumors abound, but until it disappears Ill be back on our monthly visits to the Tempe area.

Most of the tenants have been repossessed due to financial struggles including the entire food court except Sarku Japan, but some of the reviewers are saying that place will shut down too. Anchor stores Dicks Sporting Goods, Macys, and Best Buy have closed with Best Buy transferring its staff to the Tempe Marketplace location. News articles suggested that the property owners were looking to convert Macys into office space while the city renovated the area, but the mall has only gotten worse removing the playground, shutting down the now rusted escalators, remaining anchor stores Dillards and Sears have downsized their sales floors to the 1st floor, and Hot Topic is having a closing sale. On the bright side, cash-strapped tenants mean bargains for consumers and cheap property to purchase.

Fiesta Mall is going through an ownership sale right now so most stores have closed. Saying this, the Dillards here owns its property so is not shutting down. It is now a Dillards Discount Center. The prices and selections are fantastic!!!!! If you are shopping for children or adults you can find a lot!!!! There is a Sears store at the other end of the mall. It has great selections and prices as well. We believe the Mesa Community College is planning to open classrooms and dorms here. A write up we foundnindicated the old Macys store is pegged for dorms. The mall is still open, so also great for exercise walking in air conditioned comfort.

this area is pretty much dead, not a lot nearby for a college area (which makes me sad), and when you go into the mall its like a freaking ghost town! Most of the shops are closed, the signs arent updated, so you might go looking for a shop and its nonexistent. The shops that are open arent shops that I am particularly interested it. has one or two shops that I like that are still open, so the main bonus of going here are that there are virtually no crowds whatsoever, and that a lot of stock isnt picked over, so if there was something that you were eyeing at another store with more traction, I like to go here to check if they happen to have it.

I remember when every corner around Fiesta Mall had stores. With all the over building from 2003 to 2008 and Motorola on Broadway/Dobson dying off, its been in consistently dying a slow death. I used to work at Motorola in the 90s, I remember driving around on my days off on my motorcycle, complaining about the traffic. Bobby McGees and Black Angus for dancing on the weekends, movie theaters, shoping for everything. The area was exciting and electric when I first got here. I guess everything changes after time but with all those cheesy malls popping up like the one on the 202 and Dobson, I dont think Fiesta mall will have a chance to survive.

horrible customer service!.......and some of the guys selling stuff in the middle need to learn "NO" for answer. I swear to god I told this one guy about 6 six times that I didnt want to buy his sunglasses. Then as I was walking away he grabbed my shoulder and tried to sell me them again......I was about to beat his @$$. Another time I was at Lids and I was just checking the hats out and I walked out with nothing because I didnt like what I saw and one of the guys working there was all like " Yo why you gonna just come in here like that and not buy something" ..... AS IF IM REQUIERED TO BUY SOMETHING!?!....Honestly they try TOO HARD.

I have to rate 2 stars because of the absence of stores to shop at left at this mall! This used to be one of my favorite places to stop by after work and walk the storefronts and do a little retail therapy shopping. They have closed 2 of the 4 major department stores and about every 3 out of 4 stores are closed inside the mall. Only a few places left to eat at the food court. I am curious if they will remodel and bring this mall back to life or tear it down completely. I am hoping for the first option, as I have always liked the location, set-up, and store selection they offered at Fiesta Mall.

Dead mall! So in love them and this one is no exception. Come for the aesthetic. Take a look at Dan Bell on youtube, dead malls are serious fun mixed with melancholy nostalgia. I managed a store in this mall 16 years ago - we were in a huge loss due to high theft. I know this was one of many reasons Fiesta parties no longer. Miss going to have a smoke with Lacey at Sam Goody. Miss the giant gooey cookies, and breakfast burros, giant Pepsis in styrofoam and the stare hard boys at Digitek. No longer any off brand cell phone kiosk guys to hustle you. End of an era....

This mall is a waste land. I remember when it was built and was the place to go in the Mesa/Tempe area. Amazing to watch the total decline of a such a huge place that was so popular. There are very few shops here, the only major is Sears. Most of the restaurants in the food court are closed (although Orange Julius is still open and has been there since the beginning). The security gaurds are extremely unfriendly and rude here. There is virtually no reason to go here unless you are just using the huge parking lot as a short cut to somewhere else.
