NEVER ADOPT CATS FROM THIS STORE!!!!!! I waited over 20 minutes before I was finally helped. The associate who helped me was completely clueless on cats that were up for adoption. Not to mention Halo Animal Rescue, with whom they work with provides very little information to help these cats get fitting homes. I adopted a cat from them, which I only had for an hour before I called in regards to bringing him back. After I brought him home I found out that he was not a great fit for my family like I had initially thought. He was aggressive towards my family and other animals. Thank you to the little amount of information provided by the rescue and poorly educated store associates. I was met with hostility from the manager NORA. Clearly she was not interested in doing what was best for the animal. She also provided false information about Halo animal rescues after hours contact information. When asked about giving me something in writing about the animal being returned to the store she very rudely refused and said I was harassing her. She kept telling me she wont sign anything because she was already breaking company policy by taking the animal back. All I was trying to do was protect myself. Honestly I will NEVER shop here again. The employees are not helpful and the manager is rude. After all this drama occurred I spoke to Halo Animal Rescue and they were very polite and understanding regarding the situation. Clearly rude manager NORA only wants to get paid and doesnt care about people or animals. If you make her mad she threatens to have you banned from the store. Apparently trying to do the right thing for an animal makes her mad because its breaking company policy. I stand by my decision to return this animal the night I adopted him instead of waiting until the next morning. Even though I did break the adoption contract, I did what was best for the cat. So if you dont want to deal with poorly educated people and rude managers who clearly dont care about the well being of animals, dont adopt or shop here. Total waste of time and money.

I have never given a bad star on anything, today I made an exception! I got up early with my family to take my dog to get groomed at this particular store because there is no Petcos near us in Surprise. We get there and the lady says that we are there to give our dog a bath. We kindly stated that we scheduled the full groomimg and the lady acted as if we were wrong. Then she stated that he could not get cut any lower and that he looked low already. Clearly my dog has not been cut in months and we knew that he could be cut lower. I understand people make mistakes, but to mess with my time and make it seem as if it was our faults, you lost service and I will let others know to avoid this place.

They carry a better supply of dry dog foods than the other stores plus I love their employees! Always very helpful and friendly. They stop my dog and I each time to talk to us and to find out how were doing. They play and pet my dog, Shelby, and you can tell theyre sincere. They always ask if I need help with my purchase which are the large bags of dry food and walk me to my car to put it in the trunk. Ive shopped their competition and in my opinion they have no competition because they are tops! Thank you Petco for all you do to make our experience an excellent one and you definitely deserve the five star rating!

9/29/2014 Horribe manager. Item had 2 clear price tags with different prices and manager JOE tried to make me pay for highest price saying that is how they tag items. He said the lower price was the amount of discount given and higher price was the price of item. WHAT? Both price tags were identical!! SAME EXACT TAGS SAME COLOR SAME SIZE--JUST DIFFERENT PRICES All items were tagged same way FILING CONSUMER AFFAIRS COMPLAINT POOR MANAGEMENT FRAUDULENT PRICING POLICIES Will never do business again.

I love this Petco and the employees. Ever since Ive been coming here, employees have always been kind and helpful to both my husband and I even getting to know our names and our dogs names! Unfortunately, I will be moving out of the area and I will miss coming to this Petco. I also love the huge variety of dog foods and treats and how knowledgeable employees are about products.Thank you for all your help and for always going above and beyond. :)

yeah, last time I was there, it was filthy, nasty, everything was dirty even the restrooms, no in cares, not even them. they sell sick animals, when you ask them a question that you know the correct answer to, they either lie or dont know the correct answer. I am realy disappointed with all POTCOS. the books they are selling on snakes are giving incorrect info. you decide for yourself but I am never going to shop at any petcos.

I love this store, its not the closest one to my house, but their employees are amazing and very helpful. But tonight this lady that Ive never seen before called Goldie, was so rude and unprofessional that she put me in a bad mood. Whoever is in charge of hiring sorry to tell you, you fu*ked up. Ill from now on go to my nearest store where they do an okay job, and treat their customer with respect.

The manager Amanda Bergman is amazing! I brought in my Gustav and Gunter and you can tell she was genuinely happy to see them and interact with them. She was extremely helpful showing me around and was very knowledgeable about the different products. Everyone is nice and helpful at the store but I always am going to be on the lookout for Amanda... and so will my boys!

Clean, well stocked aisles and friendly employees. Lots of live animals. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because one of the guinea pigs was sneezing and had runny eyes - obviously sick and when I brought it to their attention, they didnt isolate it from the other guinea pigs. They instead tried to convince me that it wasnt ill and that was normal.

Horrible service, rude and dangerous, my 1 year old daughter is walking looking at fish when a shelf to the fish falls almost on her landing front of her head!!!!! I was so pissed and the girl working didnt even apologize and the half manager JESSE didnt care. Are you kidding me? They are under investigation as of this post.

I waited 20 min to get help in the fish department, ended up having to tell a cashier im now out of time and they wasted my time. All i got was excuses. There are more than 40 people in that store and 3 employees, seems like this store needs to hire managers that can fill manage people and the schedule

everytime Im at this location no one likes to help, I spent hundreds here but half the time Im returning their non working items, I buy fish they die, today they drop my fish, manager cant even help, laughs about it!! sick of the workers at this location!

It is a small store, but it has improved over the years, they now offer better quality foods and the staff are pleasent. My biggest complaint would be that they never have any carts as they are usually out in the parking lot.
