This is a pretty good Asian store, especially considering this is the only one (that Ive seen) in Auburn/Opelika. First, their selection is good. Their produce section is really quite impressive. There are lots of fruits and vegetables at a fair price. Youll find some stuff here that you could never find at Publix or Kroger. The rest of the store is pretty good, too. Good selection of most things, great frozen section, plenty of can/jar goods, lots of fish, even a restaurant (I dont know how good it is, though). They even have a small Indian section. However, like any store, they cant have everything. Considering the fact that this isnt the biggest store, its still pretty impressive. They still have their quirks. The store could be cleaner, and slightly more organized. Like any other Asian store, I wish they didnt have that "fish smell", but what can you do. They also (seemingly) never have enough registers open, which can make a quick shopping run a long one. Verdict: Great store. I highly recommend this place

I love this store. I can get so many hard-to-find items at a great price. They offer a good price on most produce, but the strong smell of fish can be really off-putting. At times, it smells like rot. Its made me a little afraid to try their meat. Everything else has been fine. Edit: 12/16 - I shopped her again and was amazed at the improvements. All the meat freezers had been cleaned. The terrible smell was gone and all of the meat looked appetizing. The only reason I cant upgrade to five stars is because they sold expired meat at full-price and it was mixed in with the non-expired meat. You really have to watch what you are buying. Really happy with the cleanliness of the store this time around.

Great place for picking up Asian groceries and snacks. Interior could use some work but it has a fairly typical 80s/90s supermarket vibe. Selection is pretty large but produce and popular items can be out of stock for a few days. Family owned and operated. If you want something they dont carry they will order it for you. Theres also a boba stand and restraunt at the back left. It serves hotpot and some authentic Szechuan and Canton dishes. This is one of the few Asian markets in the area. If you need to pick up any Asian groceries, snacks or niche products like star anise, five spice, or ramen this is the place to go.

Wow, so much variety! Theyve got everything Asian, extremely authentic. 4/5 stars because it had an overwhelming uncleanly fish odor. In addition, I was a little concerned when the young man at the fish counter used the same gloved hands to pick up my salmon fillets as the ones he was holding the mop that he was cleaning the floor with. Slightly disturbing. The produce section is full of interesting items. In all, its surprising to see a market like this here in Auburn. A great asset to the community

This store smells fish and sea. If you dont like this smell probably you wont go there. But consider buying vegetables from this store. Cheaper than Farmers market and walmart. For example cilantro. There is very nice part of this store dedicated to fish and sea food. You can buy fresh fish and etc from here. I have not tried the Chinese restaurant there but I used to see it was crowded every time I was shopping there.

A lot of our meals are prepared with some kind of Asian influence so it was nice to come to a new town and find a supermarket with all of our favorite condiments and spices needed for cooking. Everything was clean and well labeled and while we didnt ever eat there, they had a cool looking sushi restaurant located inside.

Have you ever wanted to try a new Ramen noodle everyday for the next month or two? Theyve got enough options to do that! Also do you need a pig head or chicken feet they have that too along with lots of other exotic choices you wont find anywhere else. Fresh seafood! Cool spot! Got 20 minutes to burn? Stop in and explore.

Selection is huge and varied across several Asian cultures including Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Staff is friendly, and knowledgeable. Offers fresh produce of a huge variety and a large selection of fresh fish. The restaurant in the market is especially good, and is the best in the Auburn/Opelika area in my opinion.

It has great food, great service and you have to try the bubble tea. Great prices, and I have never been disappointed. We got all of this for under thirty dollars, these were all appetizers and really filled both of us up. The antrees are huge if you feel like getting one, its enough for two meals

The restaurant inside Asian Super Market has some of the best, most authentic Chinese food Ive ever had. The service is quick, the prices are reasonable, and everything just tastes better than other places Ive had them (well, MKs has similar quality, but the flavor profiles are different).

Expensive cost of food and products but coming from Texas I expected more from this place. The cost of products is higher than Texas but they have a lot of varied items that you cant find elsewhere. The layout and smell of the store reminds me of South Korea and the food is desirable.

Very convenient to buy some Asian groceries you thought you would never find in any area nearby. There was very strong pungent fishy smell in some areas of the mall hence a little disappointed with cleanliness.

Nice selection of Asian foods. Cashier lady was rude and had an attitude. I will not go back. Started to eat at the restaurant in the back but nobody was in the restaurant even though it was open.

Really impressed that this place exists, and has this awesome of a selection, in Opelika haha. Probably the best selection of Asian grocery Ive seen outside of Los Angeles (and Asia of course).

Excellent selection of Asian food, both dried foods and vegetables as well as other Asian foods. Mainly Korean foods but they do have selections from other countries as well

Lots of things that youd only find here. Even have an authentic restaurant off to the side that will seat and serve you. Even have a boba tea stand.
